A request sent through the form reaches this site’s operator, who passes it to such an office, and that office can contact you. Your call may be recorded. Before you are connected, you may hear a short recorded message saying so, and saying that you are being connected to an independent participating attorney’s office and that this site is a referral service, not a law firm.

You choose whether to hire them

The person you talk with works for the attorney’s office, not for this site. Ask your questions, listen, and decide in your own time. You can say no, ask for time to think, call a firm from the directory instead, or do nothing at all. Nothing about calling commits you to anything.

What the call costs, and who pays

• You pay nothing to call the referral line or send a request.
• Participating attorneys pay to receive calls from the line. That is how the site is funded. It is advertising, and the advertising disclosure explains it.
• Fees for legal work are between you and any attorney you hire. Consultation terms are set by the attorney. Indiana’s professional conduct rules require any contingency fee agreement to be written and signed by the client (Indiana Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5).
• Nobody here takes a share of any recovery. The site is paid a flat fee per call, never a percentage of anything.
